Meramec Valley Bank is a State-Chartered, FDIC Insured Commercial Bank. We have been in continuous profitable operation since our inception.

In January 1918, Meramec Valley Bank was chartered by a group of local businessmen. Fifty years later, the bank was sold to a partnership that included William H. Jones, Sr., our Chairman Emeritus. In 1978, Jones, Sr. became the sole owner. The bank’s holding company, Valley Bancshares, Inc. was formed in 1981.

We opened our banking center in Ellisville in 1996 which now serves as our corporate headquarters. Modeled upon Whitehaven, a majestic southern-style mansion in Kentucky, the office epitomizes the friendly, service-oriented approach that has become our trademark.
